What customers say?

“ Sunday caldo de gallina was very tasty, so we came back the day after to try other soups. This time both caldo de res and pepian were quite average, one too salty and another one quite watery. What was really disappointing after the first visit. Both time the service was also very pleasant. ”

“ Had a nice breakfast at this place. It was early in the morning only a few people. If you want something filling, I'd recommend the desayuno finquero. Comes with two eggs, steak (carne asada), beans, plantains, cream cheese, coffee, oatmeal and tortillas. ”

- Carlos E -

“ Came here for the desayuno tipico. This is probably one of the best, if not the best, typical breakfast plates we’ve had in Guatemala. The beans are so good! They also gave a small side of salsa for the chorizo and it had mint in it. Interesting but good. Breakfast also comes with coffee (served black with sugar), which was also good. This is also one of the few restaurants around the square without ridiculous tourist pricing. Our plates ranged from 30-40Q. ”

- May Huang -

“ This restaurant is a lovely spot with great food and friendly, welcoming service. My friend and I had the Pepián, and it was full of flavor and clearly made with care. The prices are reasonable, and it’s a nice place to get authentic Guatemalan food. I definitely recommend it. ”

- Morgan M -

“ Good food, had the estofado 3 carnes and ofc I'd have it again. Home made tortillas are great and also prices quite affordable. ”

- Mabel Cárcamo -

“ They accept cards but it seems that there is a 5% extra fee. I ordered Pollo a las brasas (40Q) and I paid 42Q. The chicken is so tender and there is tortillas and a juice coming with the main course, which is really an affordable choice in Antigua. ”

- Misky Hu -

“ Ate both breakfast and lunch here. Reasonable prices and great food , recommend going here especially if the restaurant across the street has a long line. ”

- Josiah Hacker -

“ I didn’t plan to eat here but walked by and changed my mind! Tried the pepian with chicken, so flavorful! And very affordable ”
